a guided meditation

I WROTE THIS A YEAR AGO AND HAVE NOT HAD TIME TO PUT THE MUSIC TO IT , SO PLEASE HAVE A READ , TRY IT OUT , AND MOST OF ALL ENJOY

Guided meditation

This is a guided meditation in which we will try to relax and meet our guides

To start place your feet flat on the floor sit comfortably and relax , breath in and out slowly and every time you breath in hold the breath for a count of 2 or 3 and then exhale, do this 10 times just to slow the heart rate down and then we are ready

Ok imagine yourself relaxing in the chair and you are sitting outside somewhere warm and sunny, your feet extend deep down into the cool earth to ground you to mother earth

As you are sitting there you start to feel lighter you feel yourself floating at first it’s just inches off the chair then it’s a bit more , and more , till suddenly your 10 feet , 20 feet , up , up, up, you float into the warm sunny sky

You look up and you see clouds coming and as you meet them you pass right through, but you pause at this point to look back down on the world and all your troubles still down there and you marvel at how small they actually seem from up here

Suddenly you notice a fellow traveller at your side you know it’s your guide they say you made it this far on your own, but now I’ll take over and help you the rest of the way. This makes sense as in life, when you try and achieve a spiritual progression, spirit then adds its power to your achievement and you sore higher than you ever thought possible

Your guide then takes you by the hand and heads up, slowly at first then faster and faster till your moving so quickly you can’t keep track of the things your passing , out passed satellites, out passed metal objects and on into space ,

The first stop your guide takes you to is the moon as you sail round it you look back and see the earth as a small blue object and your guide says with this view you realise how small your world is, but it’s so special we look after you and guide you to make it even better

Then it’s on out into the dark cool void of space you head out passed the planets of our solar system passed the giant rings of Saturn on into the inky blackness, never feeling afraid as your guide is with you. Your guide explains that he is taking you somewhere special and with a motion increases speed and suddenly you feel like your spinning out of control planets stars wiz passed so fast ,

Celestial bodies big and small hurtle passed in the blink of an eye and then your slowing more and more till you see a planet your heading for, it’s in front of you, as you slow and approach the planet it seems to invite you in, you slow more and drop through its atmosphere till you emerge onto a beautiful green pasture,

Under your feet is cool green grass , to your left is a shoreline where waves from a mirrored sea lap the sandy beach gently adding to this wonderful calming place , to your right is rolling hills up to a mountain , and in front of you as you look up are two moons majestic and serene in the pale sky

Your guide says turn round and as you do you see all your relatives that are in the higher side of life they are all there to meet you, at this point take a moment to think of them and remember them before we carry on

That done we see another group walking towards you, these are your spiritual guides, guides you have had, guides you have now, and guide’s yet to enter your earthly pathway, they surround you; give you their energy and upliftment

You can take a few moments to examine these guides, to look at them to remember them and to interact with them, to question them and to really listen to their answers

After what seems like a short time your guide is telling you it’s time to go, you turn to wish all assembled a last goodbye but they are fading away like a vanishing mist, and you feel your feet leaving the cool grass and up you float

This time your guide accelerates faster and your already passing stars and planets on your way back to your earthly existence, suddenly you see the moon, then earth, then you slow, you slow and turn so your feet are facing the earth and your guide takes you slowly back through passed all the whizzing metal satellites till you see the clouds at this point your guide says they must leave you now

You know the way back, but any time you want to visit again just return to the spiritual gateway, you drop slowly into the warm sunshine and back onto your soft chair, you feel your feet retracting from the cool earth and with that you are back home, refreshed and ready to face the day, in the knowledge that you have help and guidance waiting for you any time you need it
